THERAPIES OFFERED

While I specialize in utilizing a cognitive-behavioral framework, I do not believe a one-size-fits-all approach. Rather, I select the theoretical orientation that delivers the richest, most accurate conceptualization of my client. Thus, offering an approach to care that has the greatest likelihood of success. My integrated approach is typically grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy, while remaining client-specific, flexible, considerate of cultural factors and scientific literature, and guided by the client’s response to interventions. Additionally, I take a collaborative, goal-oriented, and strengths-based approach to care. Throughout the therapeutic process, I maintain working hypotheses in which I collect and critically evaluate new information, updating my client’s case conceptualization and treatment plan accordingly. I actively encourage my client’s feedback, as this is vital for progress. With each approach to care, I strive to foster a non-judgmental environment and a strong therapeutic relationship where I convey genuine empathy, concern, and compassion.
